Hello
I'm looking for the family of John Bow Gray b 22 Aug 1878 Kilsyth in 1881 & 91 or earlier .
His parents were Robert Gray c1851 (parents William Gray & Mary Wilson dec bef 1877) and Jane/Jeanie Bow b 26 June 1858 Glasgow (parents John Bow & Agnes Miller). I've not been able to find Robert's birth details on the IGI
Thanks, Jane Perth, Australia

Thanks Pam, Cazay.
Makes it much easier when relatives are visiting doesn't it!
Makes me wonder why young John Bow is staying with his grandparents I suppose mum may've been ill and her sister came to look after the other children.
Looks like staying with the grandparents was a family tradition!

Can you see Agnes & John Bow in '61 or '71?
In 1881 Agnes' birthplace is given as Old Parish Monkland, but in 1891 it is listed as Kilsyth. It would be good to see if other years confirm it as one or t'other.
Tks, Jane
