Looking for information on Bartholomew Mulvihill & his wife Mary Griffey.  Bartholomew appears in the 1855 Griffith Evaluation in Co Clare.  Daniel Mulvihill his son was born in Miltown - Malbay in 1833 and he came to Australian in 1855 on the ship - Admiral Boxer.  He married Mary Griffin born 1836  - Mount Scott - KNOCKANALBAN  - Co Clare Ireland.  The daughter of Michael Griffin & Mary McCarthy.  Mary Griffin - Mulvihill came to Australia on the ship - Hotspur in 1856.

Current spelling of the name in Australia is Mulvahil.

I'm sorry I've only spotted your message. A belated welcome to RootsChat. I'm puzzled as to why your message is on the Kinross-shire board. All the details in the message point to Co. Clare in Ireland.
