Would someone be able to take a look at the 1861 census for me - Elizabeth Ballard & husband Benjamin. He was born in Kent and she in Enfield, Middlesex c 1832.
Any information most welcome - and appreciated........

Many thanks indeed ricky for all the information you have given me on the Ballards.
I often see you ( with Jake) on the threads and know that you help a lot of people with their enquiries.
Thanks again for helping me with mine........ and for being so prompt

Hi ricky - Here I am in the land of the long white cloud and it is very late and I must go to bed.
To bed quite happy though - knowing much more about the Ballards.
Bye..........

Hi Emmeline,
When you wake up and find this you'll be able to find out a bit more about your Ballards too Not one currently on my website but it is in my database. PM me if you would like me to send details of Benjamin's parents and collateral lines as well as other researchers.
Best wishes,
Paul

Hi Paul - Many thanks for your kind offer. I had seen your request for Ballards and was rather remiss in not answering that thread. With all the excitement of reaching 1000 posts I quite forgot
Elizabeth Ballard is my link - will you put the information on here or send it through PM or e-mail ?
I have a nice picture of the ' Railway Inn ' - Buntingford, Herts. which another kind Rootschatter told me where to find. This is where Benjamin and Elizabeth held court -together with numerous children and Elizabeth's very elderly mother close by.
Look forward to hearing and hope you find out much more of interest to you through Rootschatters. It really is the best.........
