Margaret Dudgeon married Thomas Downie (gardener) in 1810 at Torphichen, West Lothian. Three children, the middle one Janet b. 1813, Mid-Calder, Midlothian.

Margaret died in 1863 at 6, Salisbury St., Edinburgh.
