Hi! looking for gravestone of James Grandison (or Grindstone) died between 1842 and 1851 in Bo'ness. (believed drowned) can anyone help please? ( any Grandison or Grindstone information from west lothian would be great) Miska

It could be either one but the one I am after was a RETIRED seaman when he married Alison Bird in 1843 ( after their son was born in 1842.) Alison was a widow in South st Bo’ness in the 1851 census. So with the first being a carpenter the second looks most likely. I think this was probably a second marriage for James but his marriage record from OPR does not say if he was a widower.
