Trying to find more info on these Mansons and associated families.  What I have is from Parish Records.  All were apparently in and around Pitsligo except John.  Suggestions to expand research appreciated.

John Manson (have lots of info) b. 1842, m. 1863, d. 1931.  Born Rosehearty and migrated to Orkney late 1850s.  Son of:
     William Manson b. ca 1795, m. 1830, d. ? and
     Margaret SHAND b. ca 1807, d. 1885

William son of Alexander Manson b. ca 1770, m. 1793, d. ? Alex.  married
Margaret PIRIE b. 1766, d. ?

Margaret SHAND dau. of Robert Shand b. ? and Jane ENGLAND b. ?

Margaret PIRIE dau of William PIRIE and Janet FORBES, m. 1763.
