Does anyone have any information on the Senior family from Shepley near Huddersfield. They were brewers and lived in a place which I think was called "Cliff House" and which is now maybe a school.
I was evacuated there for a few months in 1944 with my mother and two brothers and would like to try and find out a bit more about the house and family.
Cliff House in Shepley is now a museum where todays school children go for a day trip to learn how the Victorians lived and i beleive there is an old Victorian schoolroom. Both my children went many years ago and my missus had to dress them up victorian style and they came home exhausted having made both bread and butter the old fashioned way. Joe PS sorry i cant tell you anything about the Seniors
