Hope someone might be able to help me on the Brandon family.

I have Charles born 1810 possibly in Ipswich, I found him in London on 41 census (not in county) and I know that he married Eliza Partridge 1843 in London, prior to that Mary Morgan in 1829 in Suffolk, he died c 1847 . His father was William born c1781 who married Sarah Burgess, they married in Marylebone in 1810, Sarah was from Ipswich but given they married in London so close to having Charles makes me think that he was born in London.

I don't know where William was born and would love to find out. I recently heard that he believed himself descended from Charles Brandon, Duke of Suffolk.

Can anyone through any light on this?
