Hi there.
I'm looking for the surname of the Ann who lived with David Phillimore b1843 in Chute. She was born 1845 in Tangley and their eldest child was born in Clatford. In 1870(ish) they were in Finkley Down/Knights Enham. By 1881 they were in Andover and 1891 in Penton Mewsey. I have searched BMD and can find no record of their marriage or of her death. As they seem to have moved in a localised area I am hoping that some kind soul can help me. Many thanks Sue H

Hi,
I looked the family up on the 1881 census and used the details of the eldest son Charles age 11 born Finkley Down Hampshire to search on 1837online. This is the reference for the birth of the eldest son Charles.
Jan quarter 1870
Andover 2c 235
If you send of for the certificate, it will give you the mother's maiden name

I am sure that you have the info from the 1881 and the 1901 but have saved the images if you want them.... on both Ann is listed as his wife...

Hi Sue...Surprise surprise Charles is not the eldest child  He is number 4 I finally found them in 1871 census no help with Ann but am guessing by what u say u probably dont have this info

Actually, I've just recounted his children and now I've reached the grand total of 12! I'm glad I haven't got to buy them all Chrissie pressies, but I will be thinking of them!!!

LOL Thought it was pretty good myself and all Dont ask...Have the image if u want a look c....The enumerator had a terrible hand but how it has been transcribed as Williamson is beyond me...Your lucky I dont give up easily...LOL...PM your email if u want a look c.....All the best Kris
