Edith Emily jessie lewis

Looking for information on Edith Emily Jessie Lewis married Thomas S Parker in Newport Monmouthshire sep 1898 age 22 on marriage cert her father was William Lewis living in Christchurch Newport Monmouthshire. Found Edith E J Parker (Lewis) & Thomas S Parker in 1901 census in Hereford it states she was born in Kentchurch Hereford but can not find anything anywhere they were living back in Newport be 1906 in the Pill area anyone know thanks

And also Mansfield from Waterford in Ireland and Newport Monmouthshire. Any Mogford's from Devon/Somerset/Monmouthshire.
Woodford from Monmouthshire/Somerset.
Lockhart from inch in Scotland and Shropshire.

Hi

She's a bit of a mystery.  Nothing on the 1881/1891 so I decided to check for a birth reg to make sure she was deffo b Hereford as per 1901 entry

I have searched the full GRO index from 1874-1879 inclusive but there is no Edith Emily Jessie entered.  There are a number of Edith Emily's and one Edith Jessie but no combination of the 3 christian names

This is a big mystery. I have myself been all through the census and the BMD and come up with nothing. She used her full name on her marriage cert and on the birth cert of her daughter. Thank you for looking anyway. There must be someone out there who knows of her.

Can we try and track back on William on the Census, I wonder ? 
Looking for Lewises on the 1891 Census for Herefordshire I can find Elizabeth 20, William 19, John 36, Thomas 53, William 23, Mary Jane 22, Alfred George 15, all giving Kentchurch as place of birth and still in Herefordshire.

I wonder if she had taken on extra forenames, one or two over the years. Not unusual. 

Can anyone spot WIlliam on the 1901 Census in Monmouthshire ?

Ive been wondering myself if she took on extra forenames. She used her full name when she married Thomas Parker and also on the birth cert of there children. In the 1901 census for Hereford she is Edith .E .J. Parker and gives her place of birth as Kentchurch Hereford. Thank you for your time.

It looks as though Kentchurch had its own Registration District for a while, then transferred to Hereford.  Try asking them to do a search for Father William Lewis and any of the 3 forenames 2 years either side of her possible birth date. Or you contact the Herefordshire Family History Society.

Edith married Thomas S Parker in Newport South Wales. The witnesses were Hedley & Rosa Parker they were the brother & sister in law of Thomas. Hedley was living in Hereford in 1901 and so was Thomas & Edith. I have found all the Parkers but just cant find Edith before 1901. Thankyou for your time.

May be a total red herring but in the 1901 Directory of Monmouthshire, listed in Christchurch Newport, is Mrs Lydia LEWIS, a farmer of Scwborfach Farm.
