SO ON THE 1861 WAS LIONELS PARENTS JOHN AND SUSANNAH AND THEN JOHNS MOTHER WAS SUSANNAH WHO WAS A WIDOW? AND WAS CHARLES AND ALFRED LIONELS BROTHERS?

FORGET THAT. LIONELS MUM WAS SUSANNAH THE WIDOW IS THAT CORRECT? AND JOHN 37, CHARLES 20,ALFRED 11 WERE HIS BROTHERS

have written as it is on the census page
Suasannah Lee aged 57 was Josephs wife from the 1851 census
Charles, Alfred and Lionel all it says is son's  , Who they belong to it dont say
I would have thought going by the 1851 census that Lionel belongs to the widow 
I will see if I can find John Lee aged 37 on the 1851 census, that might clear things up

OK THANKS ITS JUST STRANGE THAT LIONEL AND CAROLINE HAD A DAUGHTER MARY ELLEN B1883 AND JOSEPH LEE 1860 AND MARY WALPOLE CALLED THERE DAUGHTER THE SAME AND WAS ALSO B1883.
IT SEEMS THAT JOSEPH LEE B1860 FATHER LEVI B1838 WAS LIONELS BROTHER . DOES THIS MAKE SENSE.

The Joseph Lee married to Mary is a shoemaker/bootmaker on the 1901 census, Their daughter Mary E Lee is down as born Stamford, Lincs

I have a connection with the LEE family.
Lionel Amos LEE b1867 married Elizabeth Annie SEWELL b 1871 on 8th December 1892 at Ketton Parish Church. Their witnesses were Henry James LEE and Mary Ann LEE.
They had a son Albert b1895.
At this time I don't know of any further children of theirs.
Elizabeth Annie SEWELL was my Grandfathers older sister. He was Ernest Edward SEWELL b 1875 at Wittering as was his sister.
I hope you are still looking at this site and find this of some interest.

Further info re Lionel Amos LEE
According to 1911 census he, his wife Elizabeth Annie (nee SEWELL) and only son Albert were living at Aldgate, Ketton in Rutland.
Lionel was a General Labourer and Albert was an Apprentice at a Motor Car Works.
Albert LEE b.1895 was married in the Stamford Registration district (7a 546 JUN 1925) to Elsie Elizabeth NEWELL b1903. (propbably Ketton. I havn't checked it yet)
I hope this adds to someone's records and not only mine.
