« on: Wednesday 15 December 04 19:49 UTC (UK) »

Hello everyone, Iam looking for information on my Great Grandfather John Phillips born in 1854 in County Roscommon, he may have had a twin brother named Francis or Frank, his father's name was Thomas.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thank You.  By the way, John emmigrated to Warrington,Cheshire, England before 1871, and then to the USA in 1880.

Hi Kasha

Sorry we haven't been able to help you so far on this one.

Have you made any progress,  or do you have any further details that could help someone to find what you are looking for?

Look forward to hearing from you.

Best wishes

Thanks Ticker, I recently did hear from a woman in England who's Great Grandmother Anne Phillips Hagan was John's sister.  I also found that John did not have a brother Frank.  It is interesting to know that the Hagan family descendants still live in Drinagh, and own the original house although it is currently uninhabited.  So far we have been able to trade photos of family members, and there is no doubt after looking at them that the families are related.  Thanks to all who have looked at the messages.

Mike Phillips.
