I'm researching the family of John Mccue m Catherine O'Connor who had 3 sons John; Patrick and Michael. The family came from Ireland. I think Cork.... but cannot be sure. They emigrated during the potato famine to England and settled in the Newcastle On Tyne area. Patrick married in Ireland to Mary Bohan before emigrating to England. John was b 1816 and Catherine b 1820. Cheers Chester

Hi Higgles, I came across your message about the McCues and I was wondering if your James may have been a brother to my John who married Catherine. John and Catherine emigrated from Ireland and settled at Newcastle on tyne England. Did your James and Elizabeth also settle at Newcastle on tyne? Cheers Chester
