sorry but it is back onto sp for you...

barbara donald was born 7/10/1855, which means her birth cert will contain more details about her parents than any other, well worth £1.20.

looks like oor elizabeth robson could be born 19/9/1824,

daughter of james and janet hobkirk

hi,
I have looked up Mary Nicholson on sp site and she is Robert and Janet's daughter (out of wedlock).
I have tried to find Barbara Donald on  sp,but so far have had no luck, there are several Barbara Donaldson born 1855 but none from roxburgh,but will keep trying.
but with all the name changes that I have found Jane to Janet, Robson to Robison, Donally to Donald, Betsie to Bessie, I would not be too surprised to find out that it is Donaldson and not Donald, time will tell.
