Hi,
can someone find these 2 ladies for me?
In 1851 they lived together at Green End,Shillington.I believe they might be living at the same place in 1861.
Lydia HALLWORTH-age 80-born Higher Gobion or Pulloxhill-Dressmaker
Mary STAPLETON-age 64-neice-born Marston Moretaine-Dressmaker

Not much wiser except to say 1871 address is Cranfield, Beds
The street name just said "Cont'd" and I typed the info then was going to go to the previous page to see what it was continued from, but didn't, sorry! Have just looked now and it was actually "Contd." for 10 pages back to what looked like Eaton End but could also just be 'continued' again. Enumeration page includes Tartlett End but it's definitely not that.

Not to worry - and thanks for that link, much easier to do it that way than trying to cut & post an image as I tried to do. (Apparently you can't paste images on lookup boards, just County Boards)
I paged back from the page 20 entry to the one you've linked to and as I said, couldn't read it  I scrolled back further, many more 'cont'd's, that enumerator needs to be sacked! Then I tried to check it on the enumeration page and that just says:
'All that part of the parish comprising the West Side of Tartlett End, the west side of Merchant Lane, Wharley, Grove Farm, Crosslands, Leys Farm, Conns Farm, Broughton Lodge, Strouds Farm, Far Woodend, Woodend and Dodswell'
Take your pick, Trisha
