hello Bob and all
I have just been asked by a friend could I help with tracing some german ancestors & shortly thereafter I found this thread, many thanks for all the work & suggestions - I will no doubt have some queries soon - may have to get the husband to join in - He studied schoolboy German while I was learning schoolgirl French

one of the mods (usually me) adds a translation for the others, and anybody answers in german, we translate the answers too
