I am very interested in sharing genealogical information from other descendants from these two Suffolk families: the Mears' from Stoke by Clare & Whepstead areas; and the Elsdens from Chedburgh, Chevington and Whepstead areas.

Hello, Not sure if it is the same family, but Ive been trying to find a Frances Mears that came to Australia in 1833 with her husband William Bloomfield.  We know very little about her only that her uncle/father a Rev M D Mears was also in Australia, as he married Williams brother.
