We have just added the following indexes to the North Wales BMD
database:
Penllyn (Bala) Registration District
Deaths: 1837 - 1950 (11,816 entries)
The indexes to all the births and deaths registered in Bala
registration district, from 1837 to 1950, are now on the North Wales
BMD database.
Once again, our thanks to the volunteers who have photographed,
transcribed, and checked all these index books; and to the
Superintendent Registrar at Bala, for her willing assistance with the
project.

(3,170)
Deaths - Llanidloes sub-district
1896 - 1950
(5,384)

Montgomeryshire", for their work in photocopying, transcribing and
checking the above indexes; and to the staff of Newtown Register
Office, for their help and assistance with the project.

We have just added the following indexes to the North Wales BMD

Deaths - Tregynon sub-district
1837 - 1950
(4,354)
Deaths - Llanidloes Upper sub-district
1837 - 1896
(4,582)
With today's update, all the births and deaths registered in the
ancient county of Montgomery, between the years 1837 and 1950, are now
on the North Wales BMD website.

database:
Hawarden (East Flintshire) Registration District
Civil Marriages:
1929 - 1950
(2,348 marriages)
The indexes to all the births, marriage and deaths registered in
Hawarden registration district, from 1837 to 1950, are now on the
North Wales BMD database.
Our thanks to the volunteers who have photocopied,
transcribed, and checked all these index books; and to the Flintshire
Superintendent Registrar and her staff, for their enthusiastic
assistance with the project.

Hi Dolgellau,
I have been adding updates here, as I get them in the UK-BMD updates newsletter.
Nothing has been mentioned there, but it might be worth going to the North Wales BMD site and asking the webmaster.
One problem all BMD sites have, from time to time, is lack of transcribers -- maybe the holiday season hit North Wales especially hard ??
