Could someone please advise if the 1851 & 1891 census for Ivinghoe are complete as I have had no luck finding the following EALING family which includes.
David Ealing Born 1826 Ivinghoe
Isabella    "       "   1823 Mentmore
Eliz. Salome Ealing Born 1848 Ivinghoe married Henry MASOM Born 1845 Ivinghoe.
Edwin Ealing Born 1849 Ivinghoe
Charles Ealing Born 1854 Ivinghoe married Ruth WINDMILL Born 1851 Ivinghoe 
for the 1851 and 1891 census.

Hi Barbara and Newf,
 
Many thanks for your help in locating the Ealing and Mason families in the census.  I wouldn't have ever found this family with the surname spelt Caling, Paling and Marson.  We are fortunate to have Ancestry. com at our local library in our town. Our local Council has subscribed to the site but only have one computer to use. Again many thanks.

Hi Margaret,

It's always worth doing a forename only search, as I did, with the age, wife and birthplace details, and then look to see what surname comes close.  Not always the fault of the transcribers, as some of the census are very hard to read.
