2 Forster brothers 1764 - 1769 military ?? lancashire
« on: Sunday 19 August 07 13:13 UTC (UK) »

Hello from Canada. I have born in Warrington Thos Forster born 1733 married 1752 + 1rst child 1754 then second child 1765 (11 years difference). Also his brother Peter Forster born 1736, married 1769. They are both of age to serve perhaps in the 7 years war and by the dates above seem to have done so. Can anyone help with their records. as I am in Canada I am unable. Jim

I have an ancestor, William Forster, born 1791. He worked as a blacksmith on Smithy Lane, Golborne (now Croft) Married to Betty. Is there any connection to your tree perhaps?

Hi there. My tree includes over 500 individuals most of which are documented and proven to about 1700ish. Before that is still unproven, however all of mine seem to be close to inner Warrington (Mersey street) although I do have many early lines as yet not traced forward. I do not have at this point any connections in the northern  part of the city.
