He was very straightforward - all years up to 1881 were there, no fiddling around !
Whats the story on his name then ?

Dear Kay,
I saw your message re Mander Hadder. My maiden name was Hadder and I have been compiling my family tree for several years. Is Mander a relative of yours? He was christened Mander, which was the maiden name of his mother Caroline.
There are also three other Hadders on the Tree called Mander - Richard Mander (born 1860), William Mander (born 1890 and was killed in the third battle of Arras in 1917) and my grandfather, Vivian Mander Jones (born 1879).
Could I be of any further help to you?
Best regards
Jane

Dear Kay,
I am afraid I do not have a marriage date for Jonathan Hadder and Caroline Mander. William Mander Hadder was killed in WW1, but my grandfather Vivian Mander Jones Hadder died on 10 Sep 1959. William Mander had a brother Vivian, who was killed in the first battle of the Somme in 1916.
Best regards
Jane
