Greetings all,

I am trying to find the final resting place of Angus McIntyre who died at Rockfield 6th July 1857. Although I have not found a second marriage yet it appears he may have remarried to Grace Duncan.
Also his first wife Katrin or Catherine (nee Taylor) who died around 1834 in the Skipness area.
The cemetery searches have not shown a headstone,   As they probably didn't have headstones where would I find the records of their burials for that area.

Any help appreciated.

Apparently no burials were recorded in the parish register for Skipness.  (See this link to a list of dates for each OPR: http://www.gro-scotland.gov.uk/famrec/hlpsrch/opr-cov.html )

The only other possibility is to check mort cloth records in the Kirk Sessions.  Unfortunately, as far as I know, these are only available at the National Archives for Scotland in Edinburgh.
