Plese can you find any information regarding the parents of John Hopper born 1777 in Hutton Bushell nr Scarborough.  John Hopper's  wife was Hannah Taylor  born 1771 also of Hutton Bushell.
                  Thanks

Me again!  Cheesy

The only IGI John Hoppers that I can find in the area in that year range are ...

  • JOHN HOPPER christened 9 Oct 1775 Harwood Dale - no parents mentioned
  • JOHN HOPPER christened 14 July 1776, Wharram-le-Street (near Settrington, and Rillington) - father is Thomas Hopper

Tried Hooper too, but there's nothing showing for that variant.

My guess is that you've already come across the Harwood Dale one - that's back in Hackness/Hutton Buscel areas again!

Thanks very much for information.

Sorry for my late reply but haven't been on this website for quite some time. Have been following up the Barker side of my tree.
                        Thanks once again
