Adding photo to profile pls help

Hello All

Can someone please help me I am trying to add a photo to my profile the file size is 300x315H jpeg I click for add your photo but nothing happen its very frustrating obviously i am doing something wrong but don't know what  Cry.

I have read the thread on adding a photo to profile still no luck

Any help would be much appreciated.

  • OK, first - go to this thread:

  • post a new message there containing  your picture.  You will need to resize it to 120 pixels wide, which is the maximum allowed for avatars.
  • once the picture has been posted onto the thread, right click on it (or control-click if you are on a Mac).  You should get a box pop up with the Properties in it.  Copy the "Image Properties - Location"  that you see there.  It should look something like:
    http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=202137.0;id=54870;image  (that's the address for my grandad Harry  Wink  )
  • Then, go back to your profile page, and paste the image location into the "I have my own family crest or image" box.
  • Save changes, and you should have a piccy in your profile  Smiley
