I'm not sure if this website has been mentioned before but I think it's well worth highlighting:

http://apps.buckscc.gov.uk/eforms/wills/search/aspx

It's a site run by Bucks County Council with a fantastic index of Bucks wills. You can search by name and/or place and if you identify any belonging to your ancestors, you can order them at £3.50 each (+ £1 p&p per batch - so it pays to order a few at once!!)

I've just received my second lot and they're invaluable for the information contained in them.

Thanks for this. I have already emailed them about a Springall will which just might be mine!

Unfortunately the link didn't work but I found them easily by googling Bucks wills.

It seems like sod's law - a couple of days after I recommend this site and I can't seem to get into it!!

Would someone else mind trying - just so as I know it's not just me - as I can't get into the Wiltshire Wills site either!!!    Cry

I tried on and off during the day as I'd got all ready to do a load of searches. Perhaps they were doing some site maintenance or something.
