Hope these help, a couple of things i noticed marriage 4 is for a Mrs Mary Bayley so presumably this is not her first marriage and marriage 3 for Anne Kimpton, in the original she is listed as Ane Kimpton.

Hi,
I've thought about this possibility before but it's so hard to confirm a connection - that's why I was hoping the will might have thrown something up.
Thomas & Margaret Bayley's children were, in order: Jane, Margaret, Mary, Ann, Thomas, Mauris (son), Sarah and Elizabeth.
Thomas's wife Margaret's parents were William & Jane, so, as they didn't have enough sons to name one William after her father, I'm thinking Thomas's father was probably Mauris/Morris/Maurice and possibly his mother was Mary.
A nice unusual name - Morris.
I think I vaguely remember coming across a Morris Bayley marriage in Surrey but it was to a Thomasin rather than a Mary - and no reason to link the two together.
Do you have a Marriage Index for the whole of England? Or just for a few counties? I'd be really grateful if you could look for a Morris Bayley - and wouldn't it be just great if the entry actually said 'of Burnham, Bucks'!
