can anyone tell me if someone died in kingstreet newton stewart where would he be buried or cremated

it is my great great great grandfather
joseph brown (hawker) died 28/02/1889 age 79
widower of margaret caskie
he died at kingstreet newton stewart

margaret caskie
died 12/01/1870 age 43
upper mill street tillicoultry

You could try e-mailing the CIS for that area. I did and found out where my great grandparents were buried.

The information you need to provide is when they died, where they died and last known address
and age at time of death. Ask where they are buried, if anyone else is in the lair and who purchased the lair etc.

The address is CIS[AT]dumgal.gov.uk - hopefully you will get a reply within 24 hours.
