I am looking for information about Harriett Lockton b c1854 in Aston-le-Walls.
Her parents a thought to be William and Fanny.

Any help please.

By 1871, she's in service at Burton on Trent St Mawdens Modwen Staffordshire along with her sister Ann.

Hi

St Modwen is the main church in the market place of Burton on Trent. St Modwen's in the census relates to that particular area of Burton town.

This link has a picture of St Modwen;s church and if you click on the link of the market place, you can see the area in which it stands. As you look at the pictire of the market place the church is on the right. The large buiding you are looking at in that picture was a tailors and outfitters for many years and about 4 years ago became an opticians.
