Every snippet helps to understand more about our ancestors and just makes us proud to belong to them.

well... not so proud of some!  In another part of my tree, Timothy Hogan who was an upstanding man until his 40's lost his very Irish temper, and in a fight stabbed a man, this lead hit to be jailed... and on leaving jail.. was often hounded by the local constabulary.  We lost track of him after his last stint in jail, perhaps dyings as a person unknown.

Kezias son William, was apparently a sullen man, he married the daughter of Timothy Hogan, and gave her a good thumping after having their firstborn on St Patricks day.  He didnt like the Irish!

The others seemed to have a pretty tough life, I admire that they survived such a hard life.

Hi Sandie

That is so very sad.

I am proud of  mine warts and all because without them I wouldn't be here.

Understand your feelings though.

HI Sandy

thats when I can pull out my natural family tree.

My dad was adopted by the Hunts, and I have always
felt part of that family.  We recently found my dads
natural mother, but unfortunatley she died 3 months
prior to getting the information.  We have contacted her
family, and although they were excited to hear about us
they havent followed though with followup contact.

It just makes the tree more interesting!!

cheers
Sandie
