At last I have found information about my gt uncle.

I lost trace ofhim after 1881, and now with a kind persons help have discovered that he went to India
Because of that help I now have his army record, and  details of his wfe and family.

I have just received the copy of their mariage cert and find that his wife has two names, I wonder, could she have been illegitimate?

The cert has her as Mary Jane McCarthy also known as MaryJane McGuinness?, two fathers names are also given both McGuinness and McCarthy

I would love to contact anyone who may be reseaching this family, either McCarthy or McGuiness
so that I could learn a bit more about
