I'm trying to find the death date or MI (if any) of George LESLIE and his wife Helen LESLIE who would have died in ROTHES around 1782-1820. Can anyone suggest any online resources please? Thanks Simon
Go to Sources; "Links" - go down list on right to the bottom and click on "The Moray Burial Ground Research Group". Check it out send a message and sit back and wait. It's run by volunteers and I havent heard back yet. You may even be able to find the family as I did too.
I have family in the Rothes cemetery too...Younie.

There isn't anything in the old Speyside MI books either.
The Moray Burial Grounds Reaserch Group may eventually find some hitherto unrecorded stones, but as far as I know they have not tackled Rothes yet.
The burial ground lair book doesn't go back as far as the 1820s.
The Rothes parish register contains lists of mortcloth fees paid in but I've extracted all the Leslies from that and have not (so far) been able to match them with certainty to George and Helen.
