Burranhill

Does anyone know if there was an area called Burranhill in Carlisle before 1800.  I can find a Burranhill Road in Carlisle now.  I wondered if there was an area Burranhill.

If there is an area called this does anyone have access to the Parish Records for marriages prior to 1786.  I am looking for a Francis Kerr who was a carter.  He married someone with the surname Haugh.  Her father was James Haugh of Burranhill.

Any help or advice with this would be great.

the area you want is durranhill road on durranhill estate.im sorry but i dont have access to the parish records.i hope this info helps
