I have been in contact with the US Garfield web site owner, he kindly allowed us to put our meagre bits and pieces on his site in the hope that our lot were related to his lot.

They were from Mancetter and emigrated. He has quite a lot of info on his site, some of it I'm not too sure of, so whether its just odd bits that people have sent him I don't know.
I'm off to bed now, so will try and clear my head to start fresh tomorrow
