John & Elizabeth Lawrie of Ellon

Searching for my ancestor - John Lawrie and his children.

John Lawrie born 1835 at Ellon , he married Elizabeth Robertson on 26/11/1860 at Savoch. They had at least the following children -

John Robertson Lawrie born 28 December 1860 at Savoch.
John Lawrie born 1875 at Tyrie.
Alexander Lawrie born 1877 at Elon.
Elizabeth M Lawrie born 1877 at Ellon.
James R Lawrie born 1880 at Ellon.

I do know that John the father died at Longhaven, Cruden on 19/3/1887. and that at one time he was a teacher of Dancing. Wink

I would be very grateful if anyone can help me find out about James and his wife and children. Grin

Unfortunately, I do not have access to Scotlandspeople !

1861 census- whitehills cottage house (living with george lawrie)

john...age 25...teacher of dancing

1871 census- mugiemoss, freeburn road, newhills

john...age 34...coachman (living with charles fraser)

1881 census- back road, ellon

john...age 46...teacher of dancing
elizabeth robertson...age 40
john...age 6
alexander...age 4
elizabeth...age 3
james...age 10 months

1891 census- station road, ellon

elizabeth...age 50
alexander...age 14...clerk
elizabeth...age 13

1891 census- distillery road, meldrum (boarding house)

john...age 16...general merchant's assistant

1901 census- 15 union street, ellon

elizabeth...age 66
elizabeth...age 28...domestic nurse
john...age 26...grocer's assistant

1901 census- 123 station road, ellon

alexander...age 24...sorting clerk and telegraphist
isabella margaret lawrie...age 22...dressmaker
alexander fraser lawrie...age 10 months
elsie farquharson...sister-in-law...age 16...servant
