Hi Trees,
               Just sent you a personal message.
The local brewery around here used to be Morlands and they owned most of the pubs in this area, but they were taken over by Greene-King, they've got a website, not much on it about old pubs but it might be worth contacting them to see if they have Morlands records, might be of some help.

Hello Trees,
                  Just been to my dads who has loads of books on Abingdon and found one on the pubs . There used to be a Bury Lane but it was later called Bury Street. The Crown was mentioned in it as follows,
          Crown Bury Street, earliest date 1854, Billings Directory.
           Closed pre 1897. Tenant in 1854
             William Young victualler and butcher.
  Hope this may help a little.
