I noticed that a number of pobs are different but that ties in with their marriage in 1862 Derbyshire Roll Eyes

I'm trying to find out where in Ireland James SWEENEY came from.  This is sometimes recorded on the Census.  The 1861, 1871 & 1881 Census just records Ireland.  I need now to track him down on the 1841, 1851, 1891 & 1901.

Many thanks for your help Kiss

Here they are in 1891
RG12/3743/140
13 William Street, Sandal Magna, Wakefield
James Sweeney 70 Coal Miner born Ireland
Harriett Sweeney 57 born Notts
Theodosia Turner 23 Married Visitor born Whitewood, Yorks
Frank Sweeney 19 Coal Miner born Normanton, Yorks
Joseph Sweeney 17 Coal Miner born Normanton, Yorks
Loretta Turner 2 Visitor born Sandal
Harriett Turner 4m Visitor born Sandal

Looks like Theodosia, the married daughter was staying with then in the 1891 census

Hi
My Grandmother was Sophia - I have heard a lot of stories about "aunt doche" (Theodocia) most famous is the one where Peter Turner clears off to the klondyke to make his millions and when he didn't return - aunt doche went after him! - she was a game old girl!

I'd be really interested to know if you got any further with your research on the family.

Regards
