Arthur Walter WILLIS was bn.9 Sept 1893 63 Edward St. Canning Town, and he fits all my information that he was my fthr. His fthr was George Willis bn.1870  and mthr. Ellen Willis (nee Pitt)  bn.1870. Hundon, Sufffolk.

In the 1930's he was working in Churchill Johnson Builders merchants in Laindon Essex and I am now attempting to find out where and when he died but have not been very successful having trawled all the usual BDM sites.

Is it possible that there is anyone out there who is able to assist me in this search.

Hi

Transcriptions for deaths in the 1930's onwards are a bit thin on the ground on the free websites

The only way is to search the full index either at your nearest main library (if you live in the UK) or online at www.findmypast.com or www.ancestry.co.uk both of which are paysites
