Hi William! Thanks for the reply. I would be glad to be of help - not sure if my facts are correct but i can tell you what I know. Its fascinating that you should be interested in this - so heres some info:  EWF joined the army in 1914 and served as an officer in the cavalry. He was also in the army in WW2, serving as an officer in the Royal Sussex Regiment who had headquarters at Preston Barracks in Brighton. He did indeed live in Golders Green after he married my grandmother in 1925 and produced my father in 1926. He returned to South America for a while but not sure for how long. They moved down to Ferrring sometime around 1931/32 ish. I cant be certain that all this is 100% accurate but it is as much as i know.  I want to be able to give you my e-mail address so you can contact me directly if you want. How do i do this?
