Hi Pheobe,
The only marriage I could find between James Duggan and Caroline Cole was at St Margaret, Hereford on the 23rd Jan 1836.? Are you sure you have the correct  range of years? 1855/56

Thank you for that information.  I was not sure of the date for sure.  If it's that date you have would it be a parish register copy or a certificate.

I actually found this info by accident in the IGI.  As St Margaret is mentioned, I would assume it would be a Parish record.

I know this message is alittle old but I do hope you get this.
Caroline Cole who married James Duggan in 1836 may be  the grand daughter of William Cole and Lydia Wood who are my many mant times great grand parents so ther is a connection.
