hi,
i am wondering if you may have any information on the mouat family, george born 1801.  also the john burgess family born about  1820.  any information would be appreciated.  thank you for your help.

don't know if this is your man but in the 1851 census there is a george mouat with wife janet he was born at dunrossness,shetland in 1801.
if you want the full census i will happily post it.

seems to tie in with the 1851 with a john and marjory burgess although his occ. is fisherman and on 1851 it is schoolteacher.
