Hi
Has anyone come across a Hannah Shank Baptism about 1747. She married in Fingest, but her baptism is not in Fingest, Lewknor or Grt Marlow.
Any help would be appreciated.

I did a search on my Bucks ancestry cd and found your Hanna's marriage to Nathaniel Breasier 19/04/1767 in Fingest which I assume you've got. There are no baptisms for her on this CD however a few other Shanks' were mentioned which might give you a line to follow:
At Bradenham, Joice Shank married a Rich. Gardener on 04/04/1706.
High Wycombe. Wm Shank married Mary Gale by license. 20/10/1778
High Wycombe. Wm Shank (widower) married Sarah Widmer (widow) 14/07/1775
High Wycombe. Mary Shank married Zechariah Brown 24/11/1760.
High Wycombe. Wm Shank married Ann Smith 30/01/1757
High Wycombe. Jane Shank married Roger Westropt 16/06/1752
A Henry Shank, tailor, was listed in the Michaelmas sessions for Chesham and Aylesbury 1702.
On the Phillimore's for Bucks:
Bradenham Register. Henry Shanke of West Wycombe and Mary Thorne lic 5/05/1729.
Bradenham is near Fingest. Could Henry be her father?
