Samuel Juggins - born abt 1819 - Parents Help!
« on: Friday 31 August 07 11:08 BST (UK) »

Hi Pals,

I have a problem and need your kind help.

I have been stuck for weeks on this one.  I m trying to fix the parents of my wife's g, g, g, granddad which allow me to make a link with the juggins family past.
I am searching for the parents of Samuel Juggins born around 1819 in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire, England.  At some point Samuel moved to Darlaston, Staffordshire.  He married Elizabeth Emery and appears in the 1851 census with his wife, brother-in-law and  children Richard and James.  The following is info from the 1841 census.

Living in Darlaston:

Samuel Juggins, age 20, Miner
Elizabeth Juggins, age 20

He appears again in the 1951 where the name Juggins was transcribed as Jaggins but I have altered the name below to Juggins.

The following information was taken from the 1851 census:

All living at Church Street, Darlaston, Staffordshire, England
Charles Emery, age 22, (brother-in-law), Bolt Maker, Unmarried
Samuel Juggins, age 32, (head), Miner, Married - My wife's g,g,g,granddad
Elizabeth Juggins, age 30, (wife), Married
Richard Juggins, age 7,(son)
James Juggins, age 1, (son)

If anyone can help me overcome this barrier I would be most grateful.

Kind Regards,

John
