Could anyone give me any information on a Jabez Goddard born in or around 1826 in Keysoe Bedfordshire. I am trying to find out who his parents were.

My 1841 doesn't look too bad! Eliza and John were born in Keysoe  Cheesy

Mathew was born Little Staughton according to the 1871 census, and Mary in Keysoe.

Could they have been non-conformist? There were a couple of baptist chapels in the vicinity. I've checked the BVRI which has Keysoe baptisms 1813-44 extracted but there are no Goddards

    Hi

     Marriage cert of 1846 to Elizabeth Wells will confirm his father . Otherwise Tati has a good match in 1841 in Matthew Goddard who married Mary Colbert in Keysoe in1822.
