Hello, Trying to find out any further information on my grandmother x3, Elizabeth Roseby. She was born about 1813 in Wallsend and married a George Siviter there on 27/7/1835. They had two children, James born 1837 and Joseph born 1839. She married William Robson in Sunderland some time after being widowed and their first son, John born 2/6/1849 is my grandfather x2. He had a further two siblings, William born 1854 and George 1857.
I would love more info on Elizabeth prior to and during her first marriage as I know nothing of that. Also, I can't find any record of her actually marrying William Robson so any help there too would be most appreciated!!
Thanks Sue

I found the baptism of James Siviter 5 Feb 1837 in Wallsend son of George and Elizabeth.
I could not find a baptism of an Elizabeth Roseby around 1813 but there is one for 1831 with parents Joseph and Ann. There are quite a few Roseby baptisms. There are some early ones around 1813-1820 with parents name of Joseph Roseby and Ann Wilson. There is a Jane baptised New Years Day 1813. The IGI and my index differ here. The IGI has the child named Ann and my index has her as Jane.
It could be also there is a clerical error on my index and Elizabeth could be 1813 rather than 1831. Film should be available from your local LDS family history center. If you get the film you will find the occupation of the father also.
