George Orr born 1815, ? Linlithgow

I am trying to find the parents and siblings of George Orr who was born around 1815 in Kirkliston/Linlithgow area.  In 1831 he married Elizabeth Laing and they had at least 8 children. 

He seems to have been employed as a farm labourer in various communities in West Lothian and Midlothian.  I found the family on the 1841-1861 census but then nothing after that.

I would appreciate any help at all that anyone might be able to give.

I still cannot find George (1815) parents but I will keep trying.

Have you considered the possibility that he was George Johnston Orr, christened in Kirknewton & East Calder Parish, MLN, on 12 January 1812 - son of James Orr and Mary Finney?  (Source: IGI)

Why?  First son named James, 2nd daughter named Mary.

At this point I am willing to consider any ideas for his parents but unfortunately I cannot verify them.  Your idea regarding the naming of the children is certainly sound but as I said I cannot check it out from here.
