places in bo'ness now gone
« on: Monday 03 September 07 00:22 UTC (UK) »

Hi; I am trying to find  pics or maps of places where my family lived in  19th century Bo'ness. I know that streets and other dwellings often change name  over the years. I was wondering if there is a website that will discuss these changes. I have tried googling the old names but do not get satisfactory results.
the places in question are- Youngs Close, Gibsons Wynd, and Victoria Building. I found one pic labelled Gibsons Wynd but it was just a close up of a stone in a wall.  Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.   Donna

Hi donna

If you google Bo'ness Library they will be able to help.  I know it's ages since you posted your query.

Cheers
