Please,

On this index is there a marriage for a Edmund Neale to a Sarah early 1800s or an Edmund Neale to anybody.

Thankyou very much.

1806 Stilton. Edward Neal and Sarah Patter is the only possibility. No Edmunds at all

24 burials in Hunts 1780-1820. None in Stilton in that period.

6 Neal burials in Stilton 1837-68 parents Richard and Elizabeth. Couple of families in Stilton 1851 born Warmington Northants, which is 5 miles from Stilton but over the county boundary

Looking at your posts why do you think they married in Hunts?

I know from records in a2a that an Edmund Neale born Burbage Wilts, son of Thomas Neale, yeoman was a servant in Stilton hunts at this time (1806ish). In 1809 he seemed to be in the East Kent militia.

Thanks for your help

As there were no Neals in Stilton at this time other than Edmund there must be a fair chance that the 1806 Edward marriage could be him. Would be worth getting Huntingdon records Office to check the entry in the PR

Yes I was wondering about the Edward/edmund thing especially as the bride was called Sarah.

Thanks
