Can anyone help trace the marriage of parents to william henry smith.
William was born in 1914 father Henry smith mother Mary Elizabeth(late lee formerley lawrence). the address on the birth cert in 1914 was
3 stratford terrace, Bolton road.

Although william smith does not appear on the free BMD I checked the original images and searched all smith's william smith was what came up on the same reference

You don`t say exactly where William was born?? 3 Stratford Terrace, Bolton Road - where??

Thanks for info on marriage. William Henry was born in Birmingham sub district sparkbrook. Is there any chance you could tell me the age of Henry Smith? I have managed to trace Mary elizabeth and her first marriage, but I have no clue as to how old Henry was.

Hi Angela,
Sorry, the information is taken from the GRO indexes and as such no ages are given. The only way to find his age is to apply for the certificate . Which certificate is another matter  . The one in 1910 is only a possible. If you apply for a certificate you can stipulate that you only want it if the spouse is Mary Lee formerly Lawrence.
