Hi Daval,

I can't see a birth registration for him, nor can I see him on census. Can you tell us a little more? Have you found him on any census, do you know who he married etc?

Found this baptism on www.dorset-opc.com  :

Alton Pancras

William George son of James and Emily Croad  25 December 1875  labourer


The Alton Pancras baptisms page does carry a warning that many entries vary from the microfilm of the originals so check at the Dorset History Centre.
