William L'Homme c 1824 London and Elizabeth Jane L'Homme c 1843, Dorset were in Radipole Dorset in 1871. I have not found them in 1881 possibly because of spelling transcriptions. William died 1907 in Newton Dist and Elizabeth died !901 Newton dist. I am hoping somebody can find them in this area in 1891 and 1901. As the H is silent sometimes it is dropped in the spelling . Thanks Shauna

Hi Karenlee, You are so clever to find them through L Norwine. How did you find them in 1881 ? I put in so many name spellings in family search and nothing came up. I wonder who they are called in 1901. I am so very grateful for your help Cheers Shauna

On the 1901 I have found son James, married and living in Newtown, Montgomeryshire. Also a possible Beatrice living same born Birmingham, married to William H HUMPHREYS.
This looks like some more of them, indexed as L'Bromane?? :-
1901 Census Wales Montgomeryshire Llanllwchaiarn RG13/5196/127/26 20 Dysart Terrace Canal Basin
L'HOMME William Head Wid 77 London Blind Thomas Son Unmarr 23 Letter Carrier Warwickshire Birmingham Elizabeth Dau Unmarr 34 Dressmaker Dorset Dorchester Katherine E Dau Unmarr 22 Shirt Maker Warwickshire Birmingham

Shauna
I found them in 1881 by using one of the childrens names, birthplace and birthyear, and also using the parents names. Since several of the children were born around 1881 in Warwickshire, I checked there first. Cheated really, going backwards probably using information that you did not have.
Happy to help

No worries Shauna, did you need any of the children chased up in 1901?

Gidday Karenlee, I have just put a post for William L'Homme on the Berkshire lookup site. He was their eldest son (actually Elizabeth's step son) As you are becoming the expert with this name maybe you could help find him although I feel bad asking as you have already done so much to help. Cheers Shauna

Hi Shauna,
I think my great grandfather was Daniel Gabriel. Have you found out anything more about Elizabeth and Alfread?
Thanks Michelle Gabriel
